About my art work.
My drawings are a journey into symbolism and the unseen forces of life. I work mostly in black and white, a palette I love for its simplicity, contrast, and ability to focus on form and detail. My work often features snakes, bodies, life and death symbols, and esoteric imagery—elements that reflect cycles of transformation, growth, and the delicate balance between beginnings and endings. Snakes appear as emblems of rebirth and healing, while life and death symbols invite contemplation of impermanence and the flow of existence.
The patient repetition of dot work mirrors meditation: each mark requires presence, intention, and awareness. In this way, drawing becomes a practice of stillness and focus, a visual meditation.Drawing and yoga are intertwined in their rhythms of attention, observation, and surrender.
On the mat, I explore the body, breath, and energy; on the page, I explore symbols, form, and the currents of life. Both teach me to embrace imperfection, trust the process, and connect deeply with the present moment.Through my art, I find clarity, insight, and a space for reflection. It is both a meditation and a dialogue—a way to explore emotions, philosophical ideas, and the mysteries of existence. This practice nurtures creativity, mindfulness, and self-awareness, qualities that naturally flow into my yoga practice and teaching.
